2026

After three editions to the City of Lights, we offered two new routes in 2026. One shorter (LPL Spring), the other longer (LPL Challenge), with two mandatory parcours and new areas. While maintening the tribute to Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the warmth of the Liège spirit.

LPL Spring 2026 was a 440km race with 5900m of elevation gain on a set route: Dinant, the Meuse, the Semois, Bouillon, Bastogne, La Roche-en-Ardennes, and a final stage inspired by Liège-Bastogne-Liège. 130 participants set off in the early heatwave at the end of May 2026.

LPL Challenge 2026: 1,250 km, 90 riders, and a foray into the Vosges

At 6:00 PM on August 25, 2026, the riders set off from Liège, heading for the legendary Bastogne roundabout. The route wound through small stone villages in the heart of the lush Gaume Nature Park and the historic center of Nancy—a UNESCO World Heritage site. It then continued through the lake district of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, before tackling the Super Planche des Belles Filles, the Col du Grand Ballon, and the magnificent Route des Crêtes. After crossing into Germany, the course traversed the Hunsrück mountain range and reached Trier, Germany’s oldest city. The next stage took riders to Luxembourg to explore the fascinating sandstone crevices of Mullerthal—known as “Little Switzerland.” The route then dipped back into Germany before the Belgian finale, featuring the famous Ardennes landscapes of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège race, which brought the journey to a close.

2025

Liège–Paris–Liège 2025 featured a single distance of 1,111 km, with 56 solo riders and 10 duos taking to the road.
Participants first had to reach Dinant, before heading to Scourmont–Chimay Abbey via the route of their choice. They then continued toward the second section in Laon and its majestic cathedral. Next came the reworked Parisian route — passing the Château de Chantilly, the forest of Compiègne, and the cobblestones of Montmartre. From there, riders made their way to Meaux and the Champagne vineyards around Reims, before reaching Orval, the starting point of the final mandatory section. The last 400 kilometers took them into the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, across the German Eifel region, and to a grand finale along some of the legendary roads of Liège–Bastogne–Liège.
