2025

Liège–Paris–Liège 2025 featured a single distance of 1,111 km, with 56 solo riders and 10 duos taking to the road.

Participants first had to reach Dinant, before heading to Scourmont–Chimay Abbey via the route of their choice. They then continued toward the second section in Laon and its majestic cathedral. Next came the reworked Parisian route — passing the Château de Chantilly, the forest of Compiègne, and the cobblestones of Montmartre. From there, riders made their way to Meaux and the Champagne vineyards around Reims, before reaching Orval, the starting point of the final mandatory section. The last 400 kilometers took them into the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, across the German Eifel region, and to a grand finale along some of the legendary roads of Liège–Bastogne–Liège.

In 2024, the second edition of the challenge welcomed 160 participants from 14 different nationalities.

Riders taking on the 1000 km route first had to reach Dinant, before heading to Scourmont-Chimay Abbey via the itinerary of their choice. They then continued toward the second checkpoint in Laon and its majestic cathedral. Next came the Parisian section: from Compiègne, passing by the Château de Chantilly, all the way to Montmartre, following the roads of the Olympic cycling event that had taken place just a few days earlier in the City of Light. Participants then made their way to Meaux, before crossing the Champagne vineyards of Reims and reaching Bouillon, the starting point of the final mandatory section. The last 400 kilometers took them into the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, across the German Eifel region, and to a spectacular finish along some of the legendary roads of Liège–Bastogne–Liège.

The 500 km riders also set off toward Dinant, before joining the same final section from Bouillon to Liège, through the stunning landscapes of Luxembourg and the Eifel.

On August 23, 2023 at 6:00 a.m., 50 riders launched the first edition of Liège-Paris-Liège challenge. For more than 1000km on a free route they had prepared, the riders had to pass through the 5 checkpoints leading them to the Eiffel Tower before the final route on the most beautiful Ardennes roads.

The day after, 70 riders left Liège for a 500km loop passing through 3 checkpoints and the final route common to both challenges

Riding solo or in pair, all the participants were celebrated on their arrival at the Liège Youth Hostel  before sharing their memories and emotions around a friendly dinner.
